Jeannie Clark works in oils, gouache, and acrylic, and specialises in printmaking, combining traditional forms of intaglio and relief print. Observed sketches inform all her artworks, with much of her current work focussing on sensory experiences of swimming, dance and music.

Jeannie is artist in residence at Peggy’s Skylight, Jazz Venue Of The Year’ in the All Party Parliamentary Jazz Awards

"Jeannie’s work takes print and oil painting to a new level, a new depth: rinsing story out of media, cleansing word and image: it’s writerly work, yet painterly and musical too: a bold way of taking the subject on a journey through a media, through a medium that sings history, woman, man, culture…."
